Visitation for Fire Fighter Karl Owings will be held at Kimble Funeral Home on Monday, May 19, from 6-8PM.
Funeral Services will be held at Junction First Baptist Church
Tuesday, May 20, at 2:00pm, with Burial following at Junction Cemetery.

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I report that
Firefighter Karl Owings died today at 6:15pm in a San Antonio
Hospital. Firefighter Owings joined the Junction Fire Department
in 2009 and has served the Department as a faithful member since
that time. Karl loved serving his community and department. Karl
spent many hours working to assure the Departments Apparatus
were well maintained and took great pride in helping to build several
of the Departments Brush Engines, earning the Fire Fighter of the Year
Award in 2011. Karl often volunteered to pull additional shifts at some
of our larger incidents. 
I ask that you keep Karl’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
